Welcome to the Brucejack Mine

Pretivm is creating value through gold, producing 376,012 oz Au in 2018 at the 100% owned Brucejack Mine and firmly establishing the company as an Intermediate Producer. Brucejack Mine is a high-grade gold underground mine located in northwestern British Columbia, approximately 65 kilometers north of Stewart.  In 2018, Pretivm received amended permits to increase production by 40% to 3,800 tpd. At $1,300 gold, Brucejack now has an estimated after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate of $2.59 billion over a 14-year mine life.

Brucejack Mine also has a full service and all-inclusive remote work site serving as a home away from home for up to 600 people. At Pretivm we know that our continued success is a testament to the incredible and hardworking people that make up our team. About the Opportunities  

We currently have some incredible opportunities available for hospitality professionals to join the Brucejack Mine remote work-site in Northwestern British Columbia across a range of roles including Sous Chef/Executive Chef, Kitchen Supervisor/1st Cook, Baker, and Housekeeping Supervisor.

Located approximately 65 kilometres from Stewart, you will work at the Brucejack Mine remote work-site on a rotating schedule encompassing two weeks on and two weeks off. In these exciting roles, you will work to maintain the high standards of our all-inclusive remote worksite.

For those seeking to join us as a Sous Chef/Executive Chef, Kitchen Supervisor/1st Cook, or Baker you will be working as part of our exceptional catering program. Our catering program has round the clock availability of top quality fresh food. The full meal service you'll supply will be healthy, inspired, and diverse. You'll take pride in feeding our people well and everything you provide will be prepared with the utmost integrity and safety as you enthusiastically utilize your culinary skills in these roles. 

For those seeking to join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be overseeing the team that diligently ensures the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. Our guest rooms are individually climate controlled with private bathrooms and quality furnishing. They are also securely accessed with electronic key cards.

As ideal candidates, you'll join us with previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Previous experience working in a camp environment is certainly an asset but is not a requirement for this role. 

Leadership, passion for the work that you do, the ability to motivate yourself and others around you, and being a team player are all traits that will ensure your success in this role as you work to keep the residents of our remote work-site comfortable and happy.

All of our team members can expect to receive a highly competitive salary that is commensurate with your role, experience, skills, and qualifications. In fact, based on the market research we've carried out, our base salaries often start where the rest of the industry tops out.

Our salaries are based on a two on / two off rotation which means that we work for two weeks and then take two weeks off.
