We are expanding our Human Resources team to support our growing workforce of 600+ dedicated team members working towards enhancing our operations at the Brucejack Gold Mine. We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join our HR Team at the Brucejack Gold Mine in Northwestern, British Columbia. The Human Resources Advisor reports to the Human Resources Superintendent. This position will be based at the Mine Site and work a rotating schedule encompassing 13 days on, 13 days off and 2 travel days.
The Human Resources Advisor supports the Brucejack Mine with ongoing daily assistance in coordinating activities related to core Human Resources policies and procedures, programs, recruitment, and assisting with, but not limited to employee benefits, on-boarding, and other areas of human resources.
This position works directly with all members of the HR Team (including the Vancouver based team), employees, site supervisors, mine management and the Brucejack Mine General Manager to ensure the timely execution of related HR activities, duties, responsibilities and accountabilities are handled in a safe and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management or related discipline combined with a minimum of three to five (3 – 5) years of related Human Resources Generalist experience. Experience working at operating mines and a CPHR designation is considered a strong asset. We are looking for candidates that have previous experience using an HRIS (JD Edwards, SAP, etc.) to manage key employee data. Candidates with previous experience with high volume, full-cycle recruitment and a strong background in employee relations and performance management is considered a strong asset.
